42 sold homes with an Average sales Price of $1,589,782

Welcome to the month that was for sold homes in Redondo Beach during April 2023.

Things picked up slightly in the  Redondo Beach real estate market  with 42 homes selling which was a bit of an uptick compared to the 40 sales in March and espcially compared with the historic low 21 sales in January 2023.

The average “asking” price was  a very impressive $1,589,138 with the average sold price an even more impressve $1,589,782. 

This was signficantly higher than the average price in March which was $1,423,964.

Homes averaged $857 a square foot and averaged 40 days on market before going into pending status.

October 2022 Home Sales in Redondo Beach California

October real estate was slower in Redondo Beach with only 50 sold homes closing escrow.  While the number of home sales was down…..home prices certainly remained very strong.

The average “asking” price was an impressive $1,516,268 with the average sold price at $1,512,320
meaning that, in general, homes sold slightly below full price.

The homes that sold averaged $857 per square foot and averaged only 31 days as active before going into pending status.

The top home sale of the month was at 441 Avenue E, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 which was a single family home that sold for $2,700,000.

As of 11/3 the lowest priced home on the market in Redondo Beach  (excluding 55+ units that are generally always less expensive)  is 605 S Prospect #106 in Brookside Village.  This is a ground floor 1 bedroom 1 bath condo with approximately 669 square feet.  The listing description states that it’s been extensively remodeled and updgraded with new kitchen and bath, new flooring and more, but it’s tough to know as there are currently (as of this writing) no interior photos of the home.  Hopefully that will be updated shortly.

We’ve always liked the value of Brookside Village as it’s close to the beach and Riviera Village and far more affordable than anything else in south Redondo.   It has some resort style features and amenities including tennis courts, gym, water features and multiple pools.

It was a solid month for home prices in Redondo Beach.  The top home sale of September was a large single family home located at 717 Avenue D in South Redondo Beach CA 90277.

The home was spacious and had great indoor and outdoor spaces due to the oversized 7,625 square foot lot.  Avenue D is on one of Redondo’s great streets.

Offering 5 bedrooms on 2 levels, 4 baths and 4,058 square feet this was a great home.  Listed at $3,550,000 the home sold at $3,575,000 and went into escrow within a few days of being listed.

With only 60 homes selling in May it was a down month but home prices were anything but down.

The average “list” price was a pretty massive $1,567,867 with the average sold price at $1,685,169 meaning that, in general, homes sold pretty dramatically over the original list price.

The average price per foot was $935 and homes only averaged 11 days on market  before going into pending status.

Redondo Beach – April Real Estate Review

Welcome to the April 2022 real estate recap for the month that was for home sales in Redondo Beach California.

The real estate market in Redondo Beach was very strong once again with 76 homes closing escrow during the month compared with 74 in March.  

The average “list” or asking price for the homes that closed escrow during April was $1,474,590 with the average sold price at $1,611,603 meaning that, in general, it is definitely a sellers market and homes sold DRAMATICALLY higher than the list price.list
