Welcome to the April 2022 real estate recap for the month that was for home sales in Redondo Beach California.

The real estate market in Redondo Beach was very strong once again with 76 homes closing escrow during the month compared with 74 in March.  

The average “list” or asking price for the homes that closed escrow during April was $1,474,590 with the average sold price at $1,611,603 meaning that, in general, it is definitely a sellers market and homes sold DRAMATICALLY higher than the list price.list

This was an absolutely beautiful coastal plantation style single family home located at 2306 Robinson in north Redondo Beach.  The house was built in 2018 and the previous owners had done a number of upgrades including an amazing teak deck and jacuzzi,home automation and more.

By the Numbers – Redondo Beach Home Sales in March 2022

Let’s take a a look at all of the Redondo Beach homes that sold in March of 22.

The real estate market in Redondo Beach improved considerably with 74 on MLS homes closing escrow during the month, compared  to the 37 homes that closed escrow in February.

The average “list” price for the homes that sold was $1,514,688 with the average sold price at $1,626,255 meaning that, in general, homes sold WAY higher than the list price. The average price per foot was $952 and median days on market was and extremely brief 7 before going into pending status.  See how that compares with other months on our Redondo Beach real estate market trends and statistics page.

The highest priced home sale in Redondo Beach for the month was a spacious south Redondo Beach single family home located at 631 Avenue C which sold for an eye popping $4,650,000.  We had the priviledge of selling one of the other top sales which was a beautiful almost new single family home at 2306 Robinson.  Congrats and thanks to our wonderful clients.

Welcome to the real estate report for Redondo Beach home sales in October 2021.   It was another great month for home sales in Redondo Beach CA with a very impressive 97 on market property sales closing.   The only problem is that “active” listings continued to fall meaning even more pressure on a tight housing market with little to buy out there.

The median “asking” price was $1,299,000 with the median sales price at $1,360,000. This meant that homes generally closed significantly higher than the asking price. The homes that sold averaged a very short 20 days on market (DOM) before going into escrow. The average price per foot of the homes that sold was $848. September 2021 Home Sales in Redondo Beach

Welcome to the month that was for home sales in Redondo Beach California.  It was another very impressive month for the real estate market in Redondo Beach both in terms of the number of homes that sold and home prices. See how September compares with other months on our Redondo Beach real estate trends page.

There were 80 on market closed home sales which made for a very impressive month.   The average list price was $1,419,042 with the average sold price at $1,460,956 meaning that homes sold well over asking price.. Homes that sold averaged only 16 days on market before going into escrow.  The top sale of the month was a very large single family home at 712 Sapphire that offered 5 bedrooms, 5 baths and just under 4,700 square feet on a huge 9,000+ foot South Redondo lot. The home closed at $3,550,000. The low sale was a 1 bedroom condo in Brookside Village that closed at $475,000.  3 of the sales were in Seascape 2 and 2 of the sales were on the Esplanade.
