Redondo Beach Real Estate Recap for January 2026

31 sold homes at $1,641,500 average price

Welcome to the Redondo Beach real estate market recap for January 2026.  Let’s take a look at how the year kicked off.

Home sales in January were very slow month for the number of closed escrows and home sales.   

There were 31 sold homes to start off the year compared with 49 in December, 46 in November, and 60 in October.

The average asking price was $1,652,432 with the average sold price at $1,641,500 which was a jump from $1,587,060 in December and $1,614,231 in November.

The average price per square foot was $858 and homes averaged a fairly brief 41 days on the market (DOM) before going into escrow.

Of the homes that sold 20 were in north Redondo Beach 90278 with a $1,563,875 average price and 34 days on market. 

8 were in south Redondo Beach or 90277 with an average price of $1,883,625 and an average of 41 days on market.

The rest were  in the Hollywood Riviera with a Redondo Beach 90277 mailing address but the homes are actually in the city of Torrance.

67 home sales in July at average price of $1,635,025

The Redondo Beach real estate market was impressive in July both in terms of the number of closed escrows and the prices that they sold for.  This was the highest number in the past few months.

There were 67 home sales in July compared with 54 in June.

The average “listing” price was $1,641,351 with the average sale price at $1,635,025 was down slightly from $1,661,065 in June and $1,653,000 in May.  

The similar list/sale price indicates that most homes sold very close to full price indicating we’re still in a “seller’s market” in Redondo Beach.

The homes that sold averaged $914 a square foot and  averaged 42 days on the market (DOM) before selling.

Of the homes that sold 31 were in north Redondo Beach in the 90278 zip at an $1,464,952 average price.  27 were in south Redondo Beach or 90277 with an average price of $1,689,303 and the rest were home sales in the Hollywood Riviera with a Redondo Beach 90277 mailing address but the homes are actually in the city of Torrance.

Homes averaged $1,923,206!

It was an impressive month for both home sales and home prices in Redondo Beach.

There were 68 sold homes in April compared with 58 in March, 42 in February and 38 in January.

The average asking price was $1,931,196 with the average sale price at an extremely impressive $1,923,206 which was WAY higher than the $1,738,197  in March,   $1,742,558 in February and  $1,785,447 in January.

The top home sale of the month was an incredible $6,000,000 for a new construction single family home located at 412 S Francisca.

The similar list/sale price indicates that most homes sold very close to full price indicating we’re still in a “seller’s market” in Redondo Beach.

The average price per square foot for March home sales was $926. and homes averaged only 31 days on the market (DOM) before going into escrow.

Of the homes that sold 44 were in north Redondo Beach in the 90278 zip at an $1,623,585 average price.  17 were in south Redondo Beach or 90277 with an average price of $2,310,340 (again skewed by the sale on Francisa)  and the rest were home sales in the Hollywood Riviera with a Redondo Beach 90277 mailing address but the homes are actually in the city of Torrance.

November sees 43 closed sales in Redondo Beach

Average Sold Home Price of $1,705,178

Let’s take a look at the real estate market in Redondo Beach last month.

Things slowed a bit with 43 sold homes in November compared with 55 in October.

List prices averaged $1,720,067 with the average sold price at $1,692,279 which was a slight drop from $1,705,178.  

Homes that sold averaged an impressive $904 per square foot with days on market, or DOM at 66 days before going pending.

There were 22 home sales  in north Redondo Beach in the 90278 zip with an average price of $1,529,532.

15 were in south Redondo Beach or 90277 at an average price of $1,774,067.  The remainder were home sales in the Hollywood Riviera with a Redondo Beach zip but actually in the city of Torrance.
